Call for papers

The Hussite Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague is glad to invite graduate students of all disciplines within the humanities, arts, and social sciences, focusing on religious studies and theology, to attend an international conference. The conference’s topics are changes and development of religious thought and self-identification in Christianity and Judaism.

All paper submissions should be approximately ten pages long (there is no maximum length of the paper, however, please keep in mind the usual conference proceeding format). The submission must include an abstract of no more than 300 words and keywords. English or German language is required. A preferable citation is the Chicago style (for example, see this manual: https://bit.ly/3xQckI3). The conference presentation should not be longer than 20 minutes, following a 10-minute discussion.

The deadline for the paper submission is the 30th of September (this deadline is for those who would like to contribute to the conference proceeding).

The conference will take place on the 22nd of November 2021 in the hybrid form.

Accepted papers will be published in the faculty’s edition QUAESTIONES DISPUTATAE FACULTATIS THEOLOGIAE HUSSITICAE. The conference is held within a SVV project „Proměny náboženské identity v křesťanství a judaismu.”
